Biceps muscle: It is an important and key muscle in the arm and elbow joint. This muscle can create movement in both arm and elbow joints by its contraction, and for this reason, it is considered as a multi-joint muscle. Because it is superficial and bulky, it is the focus of most athletes, and coaches always use different exercises to improve this muscle.

Actions

• Flexes, abducts (long head), and
adducts (short head) the shoulder
• Flexes and supinates the forearm
