We have three terms related to power that we must define first and then go to the type of levers

A = Axis (joint) or the same joint and axis

R = Resistance (body part being moved) resistance or the weight of a part or the whole body

F = Force (muscle), the place of application of force or the end of the muscle (moving head)

If the lever is in such a way that the axis or A is in the middle, the lever is the first type.

such as flexion movement and extension of the head on the cervical vertebrae

If the lever is in such a way that the resistance or weight is in the middle, it is the second type of lever

such as the ankle joint in plantar and dorsiflexion movements.

If the lever is such that the force or the moving head of the middle muscle is the third type of lever.

Like the movement of the arm. Most of the joints of the body are of this type of movement lever.
