Hello
Physiologists have always been interested in the issue of facial skin ageing due to exercise for the past years. Our answer to this question comes with many caveats, which are summarized below:
- Exercise, especially aerobic exercise, causes the release of more free radicals in the body. If these radicals are not countered with a well antioxidant capacity, they will make the skin look older in the long term and not in the short term. This is less common in resistance sports.
- Exercising outdoors and under the sun exposes the skin to dehydration and cell damage, and if you don't find a solution to this problem, your skin will look older in the long run.
The above-mentioned are the most important reasons for making facial skin look elder in athletes. Here are some solutions:
- Aerobic exercise and sports activities as a whole, if they are done outdoors, should be during the hours of the day and night when the sun affects the skin less and it is better to exercise during the cool weather.
- Always have water with you. It doesn't matter what sport you do. Drink water before you feel thirsty.
- Use natural antioxidants such as turmeric in your daily food. Vitamin E and C supplements should be taken as regularly as possible.
- Use facial massage during the week. No need to go to the masseur. You will find simple face massages by searching on Google.
- Avoid caffeine as much as possible half an hour before training. This advice is especially for the hot months of the newer year.
- If you are going to train under the sun or in hot weather for a long time, it is better to use sunscreen creams, but not too much. Excessive use of cream can cause skin pores to close.
Thank You
