We cannot easily design a program for the 100-meter run. Does this program depend on which stage of preparation we are in?
General preparation stage: long interval training
Specific Preparation phase: short interval training
And all this is in integration with resistance training programs
This is a sample exercise for the pre-competition phase:
For example, we take the record of 100 meters from the athlete. We will adjust the program based on the best record. For example, an athlete had a record of 11 seconds in a 100-meter speed run.
Now we will write 4 repetitions of 100 meters for this person. In the first week, for each repetition, we add the best record with 5 sec.
That is, we ask the person to have 4 repetitions of 100 meters with a record of 16 seconds. Recovery time for 3 to 5 minutes between each repetition and gradually over the weeks we reduce the number added to the record in order to reach a better condition.
In this sample exercise program, the best record should be recorded once a week and the program will continue on the same basis.
Of course, this was just a sample program for professionals and it differs based on the coach's mentality
