Measuring the girth of the body's parts is always needed in the field of medicine and sports, and it is necessary to measure the circumference of the body correctly because it makes us a more accurate assessment of the conditions of the person being measured.

In the following, the method of measuring the most important required parts is explained in the following order:

Important Tips:

- The body should not be Relaxed during measurement.
- Minimum clothing needed.
- Use a standard tape measure (like a sewing meter)
- If the measurement is from the right side of the body, all measurements will be the same.

Neck circumference

To measure the neck circumference, a person should stand straight. Shoulders should be relaxed. Look forward. The tape (meter) should be placed in the middle part of the neck.

Chest circumference

Stand straight. Shoulders and chest should be relaxed and not contracted. The tape should be in the middle so that it is on the nipple in men. In women, the meter is placed on the breast and the widest part should be measured.

For Women

- Waist circumference

Stand up Hands relaxed on both sides. Measure the narrowest part around the waist. Clothing should be minimal. Measurements should be taken before or after the main meal. The tape should measure horizontally.
